The solution spans customer care billing, and it includes CIS/paperless billing, payment processing, CRM, Call Center integration, and meter data management (MDM) with validation, editing, and estimation (VEE).

 

Easy to Get Started

SmartGridCIS is a hosted, cloud-based solution, so it's easy to implement with no additional technology costs to the customer. It's hosted directly on the SmartGridCIS servers and offers:

  • Meter Data Management (MDM)
  • Pre-paid and time-based electronic billing
  • Automated customer notifications and payment processing
  • Automated meter connect and disconnect
  • Financial and operational reporting to utility systems.

 

While the hosted solution is made available for ease of implementation and lower ongoing maintenance to the utility, SmartGridCIS may also be installed in the utility's data center and managed by utility IT staff.
